Eldigitalcastillalamancha.es Escribir al autor Castilla-La Mancha y Aragón recibirán este año 1,3 millones de euros del Ministerio de Educación para financiar el aumento de oferta de plazas para la enseñanza de inglés para jóvenes en las Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas (EOI) en el segundo y tercer trimestre del curso escolar 2007-2008 y primer trimestre del 2008-2009.Esta cantidad se recoge en una resolución de la Secretaría General de Educación, publicada hoy en el Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOC), que recoge el acuerdo del Consejo de Ministros del pasado 7 de marzo sobre la distribución a las comunidades autónomas del crédito destinado a financiar dicho aumento de plazas, por un importe total de 29,7 millones de euros.Los criterios de distribución del citado crédito fueron aprobados por la Comisión General de Educación de la Conferencia de Educación el pasado 21 de febrero.Las cantidades a transferir oscilan entre los 5,6 millones de euros que recibirá Andalucía hasta los 241.371 de La Rioja. Por su parte a Cataluña se le asignan 4,8 millones de euros, a la Comunidad de Madrid 4,2; a Cantabria 362.850 euros; a la Comunidad Valenciana 2,7; a Castilla y León algo más de 2 millones; a Galicia y Canarias 1,7; y a la región de Murcia 1,1.Por debajo del millón de euros se encuentran Baleares (767.352), Asturias (725.100) y Extremadura (794.115).
