La Página del Idioma Español, inaugurada el 23 de abril de 1996 en el dominio web www.iis.com.br, es la revista digital pionera en la promoción del idioma español en la Internet y en la busca de nuevos espacios para nuestra lengua en la red mundial. Sostenida por la organización no gubernamental Asociación Cultural Antonio de Nebrija, mantiene el Foro Cervantes de discusiones sobre el idioma español y el boletín de semántica y etimología  «La palabra del día».

Cuenta con colaboradores en América Latina, España, Francia y Estados Unidos, quienes contribuyen periódicamente con sus artículos sobre normativa, lenguajes profesionales, traducción, enseñanza de español, prensa y radio en castellano que alimentan un banco de datos en el que ya se acumula un trabajo de siete años en la Red.
