El próximo lunes, 3 de junio, a las 13 horas, se presentará en el Instituto Cervantes el VI Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española, que se celebrará en Ciudad de Panamá en octubre. Intervendrán en el acto de presentación oficial y ante los medios informativos:

  • José Ignacio Wert, ministro de Educación, Cultura y Deporte de España
  • Lucy Molinar, ministra de Educación de Panamá
  • Víctor García dela Concha, director del Instituto Cervantes
  • José Manuel Blecua, director de la Real Academia Española

El VI Congreso Internacional de la Lengua Española se desarrollará bajo el lema «El español en el libro: del Atlántico al Mar del Sur» y formará parte del programa de conmemoraciones del Quinto Centenario del Descubrimiento del Océano Pacífico. Organizan el Congreso el Instituto Cervantes, la Real Academia Española, la Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española y –como país anfitrión– el gobierno de Panamá. La presidencia de honor recae, en el rey de España, como es habitual, y en el presidente de la República de Panamá.
