La lengua española desplaza al francés para convertirse en el idioma extranjero más utilizado en la India.La Casa Asia ha anunciado durante una reunión académica en Barcelona que la lengua española ha desplazado al francés y por lo tanto el español es ahora el idioma extranjero más popular en India.La Universidad de Murcia (UMU) ha estado representada en este encuentro por la vicerrectora de Relaciones Internacionales y Comunicación, María Ángeles Esteban, según informaron fuentes de la institución docente en un comunicado.El encuentro, en el que participó la presidenta de la Asia Society de Nueva York, Vishaka Desai, contó con la presencia de más de veinte universidades, analizó la situación de dichos estudios y las previsiones derivadas del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, "sin olvidar las perspectivas empresarial y económica".
