    Tras leer la respuesta que da a un usuario sobre el uso de habría y hubiese, encuentro que, siguiendo las explicaciones ofrecidas, hay una contradicción en el siguiente ejemplo usado: «Su presencia me hubiera alegrado mucho». Yo habría puesto "Su presencia me HABRÍA alegrado mucho", pues alegrarse está condicionado a la presencia, a estar: si hubiera estado con nosotros (su presencia) , yo me habría alegrado mucho. Yo me alegraría, no me alegrara ni me alegrase, me alegraría, por tanto, en compuesto también condicional. Un criterio para saber si ha de ponerse condicional compuesto es pasarlo a tiempo simple. Si en tiempo simple se ve claramente que es condicional, en compuesto también. Un saludo y sigo admirado por la calidad en las explicaciones, por la claridad y concisión, al menos de casi todas.

    Hubiera forma del pretérito simple de subjuntivo, puede alternarse con el condicional habría. Aunque hubiera y hubiese son equivalentes, esta alternancia ocurre solo con hubiera y no con hubiese.
