    En Venezuela se utiliza la palabra «vendimia» para referirse a la venta de algún producto en particular; por ejemplo: «Mañana habrá vendimia de carne en el sector El Rosal» o «Hagamos una vendimia para recolectar fondos». Mi pregunta es: ¿Está bien utilizada la palabra vendimia para referirse a la venta de algo?

    En el español general, una acepción de vendimia (DRAE) es 'provecho o fruto abundante que se saca de algo'. El Diccionario de americanismos define vendimia como 'venta' y la considera un mexicanismo. Evidentemente, también es un venezolanismo. Su uso es, por ende, adecuado en esa variedad.
