    Me interesa saber por qué en español se dice UcraNIA y no UcraINA como por ejemplo en italiano y en otros idiomas. En ucraniano la palabra se escribe Україна; que trasliterado sería Ukraïna. Por lo demás lo escribimos con C y no con K.

    Con respecto a los topónimos, no tiene sentido preguntarse por qué en español lo decimos de tal o cual manera. Son las formas que emplearon los primeros que los usaron en nuestra lengua, porque lo entendieron así o porque les resultaba más fácil, y se asentó con el uso. Es el mismo caso de Londres en lugar de London, o Pekín en lugar de Beijing.
