    En Colombia le llaman "plagio" al secuestro de una persona. ¿Es correcto?

    Sí, lo es. En muchos países americanos se usan tanto el verbo plagiar como el sustantivo plagio con las connotaciones de ‘secuestrar a alguien, generalmente con el fin de obtener un rescate’ y ‘secuestro de una persona’, respectivamente (ver Diccionario de americanismos,  2010, en línea).
