    Estoy preparando un taller para un grupo de personas acerca del miedo, para ayudarlos a identificar sus miedos y superarlos. Quisiera información sobre la etimología de la palabra. ¿Me podrían ayudar? Hay cosas muy vagas y escuetas en la red.

    Miedo proviene del latín metus ‘miedo, temor’. Los latinos usaban, por ejemplo, metus mortis para significar ‘miedo a la muerte’ o metus me invadit para significar ‘me asalta el temor’.
