    Pese a tratarse de una palabra en desuso (de hecho, hace algunos años que ya no figura en el diccionario de la RAE), quisiera saber si su uso sería adecuado a la hora de incluirla en una obra que estoy escribiendo.

    Para un autor, todo está permitido; algunos utilizan palabras en desuso y que ya no están en ningún diccionario para dar un toque arcaizante al texto, lo que constituye un recurso legítimo. La única regla al escribir una obra literaria es pensar en qué efecto hará en la persona que la lea.
