    ¿Cuál es la conjugación correcta: «Sábado y domingo es el fin de semana» o «Sábado y domingo son el fin de semana»?

    Nuestra respuesta:
    Dos o más sustantivos de referentes distintos unidos por una conjunción copulativa forman un grupo plural, por consiguiente, si este grupo funciona como sujeto de una oración, debe concordar en plural con el verbo: Sábado y domingo {constituyen/representan/son...} el fin de semana. Por el contrario, si los sustantivos nombran al mismo referente, la concordancia se hará en singular: La psicológa y directora general del plantel habló con los representantes de los afectados.
