Consulta: 

1.- Cuando se alude a «un grupo de individuos», ¿corresponde que el adjetivo ‘responsable’ se escriba en singular o en plural? Vale decir, ¿se debe escribir «un grupo de individuos RESPONSABLE o RESPONSABLES»? 2.- Cuando se alude a un ÁREA o TEMA en la misma frase, ¿el plural debe escribirse en masculino y plural o en masculino y singular? O sea, debe escribirse: «Un ÁREA O TEMA DETERMINADOS O UN ÁREA O TEMA DETERMIDO».

Respuesta: 
Cuando la conjunción o denota identidad o equivalencia, el adjetivo debe coordinar en masculino singular: un área o tema determinado. El adjetivo que acompaña a un grupo de individuos se usa en plural en el español actual: un grupo de individuos responsables.
