¿Nuevo e innovador es un pleonasmo en la siguiente frase: Surgen nuevos e innovadores canales de distribución?

Respuesta: 

No necesariamente, ya que el canal podría ser nuevo (porque no existía antes), pero no proporcionar ningún elemento novedoso que lo distinguiera de otros canales existentes. Así, con nuevo e innovador, se entiende que el canal es de reciente creación y que además introduce novedades, cambios.
