¿Por qué no se escribe "del 2007" y sí "de 2007"? ¿Está prohibido el "del 2007" en cartas y documentos?

Respuesta: 

Puede escribirse de los dos modos, puesto que, a pesar de que al principio la RAE indicó «de 2007», luego se aceptaron los dos modos de escribir el año, con y sin artículo, por lo que, en estos momentos, puede ponerse tanto «de 2007» como «del 2007».
