Palabra sobre la que consulta: 
¿«consiste de» o «consiste en»?
Consulta: 

Entiendo que lo correcto es «mi trabajo consiste en eliminar errores», pero en la expresión «el sonido consiste en vibraciones» no sé si lo correcto sea decir «consiste de vibraciones» o si, definitivamente, la palabra no es «consistir» sino «constar», «el sonido consta de vibraciones».

Respuesta: 

En cualquiera de sus acepciones el verbo consistir rige un complemento con EN, no con DE.
