Quisiera saber si la palabra «dengue» se escribe con minúscula o mayúscula. Me han dicho que es diferente si se refiere al virus o a la enfermedad. Si hay diferencia, ¿qué otros casos parecidos hay?

Respuesta: 

No existe diferencia alguna, en ambos casos se trata de un sustntivo común: el virus del dengue, la enfermedad del dengue.
