Me interesa conocer la etimología de la palabra «entusiasmo». ¿Hay algún sitio web en el que se pueda encontrar ese tipo de información?

Respuesta: 

Entusiasmo se registra en la lengua castellana a principios del siglo XVII. Proviene del latín enthusiasmus y ésta del griego enthusiasmós. Según el etimólogo J. Corominas, Breve diccionario etimológico de la lengua castellana, enthusiasmós significa ‘arrobamiento, éxtasis’ y deriva de enthusiázō que tiene el significado de ‘estoy inspirado por la divinidad’; enthusiázō proviene de enthusía, que significa ‘inspiración divina’ y que a su vez procede de énthus ‘inspirado por los dioses’; énthus finalmente es un derivado de theós ‘dios’.

Los diccionarios generales como el Clave (http://www.smdiccionarios.com/home.php) y el DRAE (http://www.rae.es/) suelen presentar una breve indicación de la etimología de las palabras.
