Respuesta: 

Sí. Si la abreviatura se forma por truncamiento, se agrega –s o –es: pág. > págs. (páginas); Dr. > Dres. (doctores); apdo. > apdos. (apartados); a menos que la abreviatura conste de una sola letra, en cuyo caso se duplica: pp. (páginas); ss. (siguientes); aa. vv. (autores varios); EE. UU. (Estados Unidos).
