«DOM» Según la RAE: «Título honorífico que se da a algunos religiosos cartujos y benedictinos. Se usa antepuesto al apellido». Consulto a la Academia por verlo escrito antepuesto al nombre y recibo la siguiente respuesta.«consu2 (consu2@rae.es)Agregar a contactos12/02/2013[Marcar este mensaje]Para: fernandofernandez2@hotmail.comImagen de consu2 En relación con su consulta, le remitimos la siguiente información: Tiene usted razón, dom (acortamiento de dominus) se antepone tanto al nombre como al apellido, y así puede documentarse ampliamente en el uso desde antiguo»Les vuelvo a escribir ante esta aparente contradcción (diccionario solamente, «dom» antpuesto al apellido y en el escrito personal, ante nombre o apellido) y ya no recibo respuesta.

Respuesta: 

Los casos documedntados en el CORDE van antepuestos tanto al nombre de pila como al nombre completo, lo mismo se observa en los escasos citados en el CREA.
