Mi pregunta es si se escribe demás, una palabra, o de más, dos palabras, en el siguiente contexto:Ejemplo: (1a) Demás está decir que estamos muy orgullosos de nuestro hijo.(1b) De más está decir que estamos muy orgullosos de nuestro hijo.

Respuesta: 

De más significa 'de sobra', 'en demasía'. Demás, 'lo restante'.En este caso, convendría la opción 1b): De sobra está decir que...
