¿Por qué no se pude decir: «No tuve cualquier dolor después de la operación», sino ningún dolor, pero si se dice: «No me gusta cualquier tipo de libro».

Respuesta: 

Se puede decir cualquier o ningún en ambas oraciones, pero usar uno otro cambia el significado de la oración, especialmente si las que llevan cualquier se enuncian con tono irónico.«No tuve cualquier dolor después de la operación»: No tuve un dolorcito leve, fue un dolor intenso, un dolor particular.«No me gusta cualquier tipo de libro»: No me gusta todo tipo de libros. Hay libros de alguna clase que no me gustan. «No tuve ningún dolor después de la operación»: No me dolió nada.«No me gusta ningún tipo de libro»: No leo, no me gusta leer.
