¿Se debe decir: «Padece de una cardiopatía», o bien: «Padece una cardiopatía»?

Respuesta: 

Ambas construcciones son válidas cuando se refieren al padecimiento de una enfermedad; en cambio, cuando expresa el órgano que sufre la enfermedad, el complemento debe llevar obligatoriamente la preposición: padece del corazón.
