¿Cuál es el plural de gay? ¿Es gais?

Respuesta: 

La Academia recomienda el plural gais. Pero dada la abrumadora preferencia del plural gays, lo que incluso constatan los propios corpus de la RAE, sería inapropiado conisderar incorrecto su uso.
