La siguiente expresión la encontré en una revista, deseo sabersi es correcta: «Llegué tarde y cansado, por un momentoconsideré quedarme para comer, no lo hice porque si mehubiera quedado no habría venido...».

Respuesta: 

Es correcta. La construcción condicional hipotética de pasadose construye canónicamente según el esquema: «Si hubiera/hubiese + participio, hubiera/habría + participio»:Si hubieras o hubieses estado aquí, te hubieras o habrías enterado de todo lo ocurrido.
