¿Está bien escrito «la primero de mayo»? El caso es con una avenida que tiene por nombre el día internacional del trabajo 1° de mayo, ¿al referirse a esta avenida se debe escribir la avenida primero de mayo o primera de mayo?

Respuesta: 

La escritura es avenida 1.º de Mayo; se lee avenida primero de Mayo; en caso se elidirse el genérico avenida: la primero de Mayo.
