Consulto acerca del singular de esta palabra porque también figura como «lejísimos» aunque en uso coloquial es frecuente el «lejísimo». Necesito saber si escribir «lejísimo» es incorrecto.

Respuesta: 

No se trata de una cuestión de número, pues los adverbios son invariables. El superlativo de lejos es lejísimos en la mayoría del mundo hispanohablante, pero en algunas zonas de América se usa lejísimo en lenguaje esmerado; por lo tanto, se considera correcto.
