«Papá» y «papa» están en el DRAE con el significado de «padre». El Diccionario panhispánico de dudas dice que el uso de la forma llana persiste en el habla popular y rural. ¿Significa esto que es correcto?¿Es correcto el uso de «la mama» (llana y con artículo) en por ejemplo: «¡Díselo a la mama!» en lugar de decir «¡Díselo a mamá!»?En lenguaje esmerado, es adecuada solo la forma aguda, pero en su ejemplo, se está usando el discurso directo, razón por la cual corresponde la reproducción exacta del habla del personaje citado.
