Quería que me dijeran como se separa en sílabas la palabra FIESTA, ya que nuestra hija que estudia 1º grado la separo según nuestra orientación como sigue a continuación: FIES- TA, y su maestra se la calificó como mala.

Respuesta: 

La forma elegida es la correcta: fies-ta, por contener el diptongo -ie-.
