¿Jaguar o Yaguar?Saludos cordiales desde Venezuela. La pronunciación original indígena era "Yaguar" (el mayor félido americano) pero los anglosajones lo adoptaron e internacionalizaron con J porque para ellos la jota se pronuncia como la ye... Ellos lo escriben con jota pero lo pronuncian como era originalmente "Yaguar". Nosotros tendemos a escribirlo con jota y a pronunciarlo como "jaguar". Considero que JAGUAR debería ser considerado un anglicismo y usarla solo para referirse a la marca de vehículos) y la palabra en español para designar el gran félido americano debe ser YAGUAR.¿Qué opinan o recomiendan? - ¡Muchas gracias!
