Hola, me gustaría saber si las siglas extranjeras que no son siglas de sociedad, instituciones, firmas comerciales, establecimientos, edificios,etc., se desarrollan con la primera letra de cada palabra que compone la sigla en mayúscula (CD-Compact Disc) o íntegramente en minúscula (LCD-liquid crystal display). Asimismo, no tengo muy claro si sólo el desarrollo de la sigla va en cursiva o también se ha de poner en cursiva la sigla.Gracias

Respuesta: 

Las siglas se despliegan escribiendo en mayúscula la primera letra de cada una de las palabras que las componen.Por ejemplo: LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), y usaremos la cursiva en ambos casos. Se despliega la sigla solo la primera vez que aparece, luego se seguirá únicamente con la abreviación.
