He consultado el Diccionario de la Lengua Española y el Panhispánico de Dudas. Ambos señalan el origen extranjero de «panel».¿Qué alternativas y sinónimos tiene nuestra lengua para las dos acepciones del término? ¿O debemos aceptarlos porque «se impusieron»?Gracias.

Respuesta: 

No hay ninguna razón para rechazar una palabra porque tenga origen extranjero. El español está lleno de voces de origen germánico, árabe, francés, inglés, italiano. Panel está registrada desde 1914 con la primera acepción; y desde 1970, con la segunda. Si no desea usar la palabra, como alternativas, pueden emplearse según el contexto:- para la primera acepción: sección, tablón, tabla, tablero, cartelera, división, cuadro, indicador, elemento prefabricado, pieza, artesón;- para la segunda acepción: grupo, jurado, participantes, conferenciantes, comité, comisión, cuerpo, conjunto, agrupación, invitados.
