En mi trabajo administrativo, se ha puesto en moda emplear la palabra "expertiz", entiendo yo como "pericia" en las labores.Mi consulta lleva a identificar si efectivamente esa palabreja existe en Castellano o responde más a una traducción mal empleada.Gracias.

Respuesta: 

La palabra expertiz no se encuentra registrada en los diccionarios generales de la lengua castellana. En los corpus de que disponemos solo aparece en el Corpus de Referencia del Español Actual de la Real Academia en dos casos: «Intercambiar información sobre recursos, redes de conocimiento y centros de **expertiz** .» (Umbral 2000. Por una educación para un mundo nuevo, nº 4, 10/2000: NEXOS Y ENLACES DE INTERÉS, Santiago de Chile, 2000)«El **expertiz** humano es difícil de modelar y obtener.» (Revista Digital Universitaria, v. 2, nº 4, 12/2001 : Planeación Estratégica de Tecnología de Información, UNAM, México, 2001) Parece tratarse expertiz de un calco del inglés expertise. Como quiera que en castellano existen térmnos adecuados para expresar lo mismo (según el caso: pericia, competencia, destreza, experiencia, especialidad, etc.; perito, persona competente, conocedor, diestro, especialista, experimentado, experto, etc.) lo recomendable es evitar el uso del primero.
