Mi consulta es acerca de la concordancia cuando el verbo precede a varios sujetos.Causó una gran indignación la estupidez y la ignorancia de la ministra.Causaron una gran indignación la estupidez y la ignorancia de la ministra.¿Cual de las dos es correcta?

Respuesta: 

Si las partes coordinadas del sujeto se conciben como una sola unidad, el verbo concordará en singular con el sujeto; si por el cotrario, las partes son cosideradas como elementos independientes, el verbo concordará en plural. En su caso «la estupidez y la ignorancia» parecen formar un solo elemento: «Causó una gran indignación la estupidez y la ignorancia...». Lo ideal sería, entonces, no poner el segundo determinante: «Causó una gran indignación la estupidez e ignorancia de la ministra».Pero el verbo iría en plural en un caso como este: «Causaron una gran indignación el descaro de los presentes y la ignorancia de la ministra».
