Sí, es correcta, es una locución adverbial utilizada en oraciones aseverativas, cuya función es reforzar el valor de verdad de la aserción. Puede sustituirse por cualquiera de los siguientes adverbios: verdaderamente, indiscutiblemente, ciertamente, evidentemente y por locuciones como 'sin duda', 'en realidad'. Ejemplos: "En la última semana he leído algunos trabajos acerca de las taxonomías y me doy cuenta de que, en verdad no se trata de un tema sencillo"; "En verdad es divertido"; "En verdad os digo que ningún profeta es bien recibido en su patria".
