Sí, está en uso, aunque básicamente en la lengua escrita. Transido es el participio del verbo transir 'pasar, acabar, morir', que con la función de adjetivo ha adquirido connotaciones adicionales (DRAE): 1. adj. Fatigado, acongojado o consumido de alguna penalidad, angustia o necesidad. 2. adj. Miserable, escaso y ridículo en el modo de portarse y gastar. Juan Antonio Vallejo-Nágera, Yo, el rey(España, 1985):«¡Qué diferente la entrada de don Fernando a Madrid! Esta es la que deseo para mí y no la de Murat. En lugar de pasmo y admiración, cariño. El entusiasmo que describen los relatos sólo es posible si está transido de amor y devoción». Jorge Ruffinelli, Patricio Guzmán, (Chile, 2001):«La memoria obstinada visita al padre del fotógrafo, quien transido por la emoción del recuerdo no puede articular ni una palabra, pero coloca sobre la mesa el fotómetro de su hijo». Transir y transitar tienen orígenes comunes. Transir proviene del latín transire 'pasar más allá, traspasar'. Transitar, de tránsito y este del latín transitus, derivado de transire. Atravesar proviene de través y este del latín transversus.
