diferencia entre rapto y secuestro, pensando inicialmente que es lo mismo pero su diferencia principal es que se trata de rapto cuando es con fines sexuales. gracias.

Respuesta: 

El secuestro puede ser de bienes o personas; el rapto implica el secuestro de una persona con la finalidad de conseguir un rescate, según el DRAE. El Diccionario de uso del español, de María Moliner, también considera "raptar" equivalente a "secuestrar" pero incluye, además, una acepción que señala una diferencia: «Llevarse un hombre consigo a una mujer violentamente o con engaño».Por otra parte, en los códigos penales de varios países "secuestrar" y "raptar" figuran como delitos diferentes; el segundo coincide con la definición de Moliner. Una mujer puede incluso ser "raptada con fines matrimoniales", según dos de los códigos penales consultados».
