Yo sé que que la frase "es mejor que" se usa con un verbo en modo subjuntivo pero me dijeron que también se puede emplear con verbos en indicativo. Me gustaría saber si es correcto y en que casos se usa o si no se puede usar en ningún caso.

Respuesta: 

El subjuntivo se utiliza en determinadas expresiones impersonales del tipo en las que se refleja la propia postura, deseo o sentimiento del hablante. 'Es mejor que' se usa con subjuntivo: _Es mejor que vengas más temprano_. El indicativo se emplea en las siguientes expresiones, ya que el hablante no expresa con ellas su opinión, deseo o sentimiento: es evidente que, es cierto que, es verdad que.
