Respuesta: 

Ambas expresiones son correctas. Usar una u otra preposición depende de cómo se conciba el término. «Fundación por la familia y la vida»: fundación a favor / en defensa de la familia y la vida. «Fundación para la familia y la vida»: fundación destinada a / creada para / que tiene como objetivo favorecer a la familia y la vida.
