Consulta: 

Cuándo se usa la palabra fecha y la palabra data? Hay alguna diferencia en su uso? Si no, por que existen las dos formas? Muchas gracias.

Respuesta: 

Cuando «data» se utiliza con el significado de «fecha», es decir, como indicador de lugar y tiempo, no existe diferencia alguna, a no ser en el uso, dado que es mucho más frecuente hablar de «fecha» en este contexto que de «data». En los otros sentidos en que se puede emplear la palabra «data», no es sustituible por «fecha».
