Idioma wolof, de Etiopía, usa la ñ igual que en españolwww.farodevigo.esCerca de 10 millones de personas en el mundo hablan el wolof, la lengua más utilizada en Etiopía. "El wolof tiene una fonología relativamente fácil y emplean la grafía `ñ´ para el mismo sonido que el español", explica el profesor José María García-Miguel Gallego. Según el investigador, esta lengua es "fácil de leer y pronunciar", aunque considera que su gramática es "más compleja". "El tiempo, la persona y el género del verbo lo representan con palabras auxiliares", añade.Por su parte, el amárico, lengua oficial de Etiopía, es hablado por unos 20 millones de personas en todo el mundo. "Su tradición es muy antigua y cuenta con un sistema de escritura propio, en la que cada letra representa una sílaba", afirma García-Miguel.Para el profesor, el amárico es una lengua muy compleja con la que "es preciso primero aprenderla para poder después descifrar los textos".
