Planeta y calidad Ana Lorenzo Pedraza He leído hoy en El País, en ABC... que Umbral ha calificado la novela ganadora del Premio Planeta como “una novela sin estilo”. También he podido leerlo en El Mundo, donde además se decía el importe del premio más cuantioso en lengua española (alrededor de 600.000 euros para el ganador). Casualidades de la vida, ayer mismo, en TV3 emitieron el programa Sis a Traició, donde, entre otros casos, una mujer llamada Montse explicaba que Planeta había subcontratado con su empresa de lingüistas un diccionario español-portugués del Brasil. Al parecer el trabajo se retrasó por culpa de fallos técnicos ajenos a la empresa y el grupo Planeta no dudó en quedarse con el trabajo elaborado y no sólo no pagar, sino hacer que esta empresa corriera con los gastos.Me pregunto desde cuándo el mundo va al revés para que una obra de mala calidad (aparte de Umbral, ya lo dijo Marsé) merezca semejante gasto y un trabajo bien hecho tenga que pagar por ello. ¿No será que al señor Lara le interesa bien poco la cultura y mucho el producto fácil y vendible?
