Al saludar de manera casual y entusiasta en una carta con un «¡Hola!», ¿deberíamos ponerle dos puntos después del cierre de exclamación para seguir con el contenido? Por ejemplo: «¡Hola, Jaime!: He sabido que tu reunión con el cliente fue un éxito».

Respuesta: 

En el ejemplo presentado «¡Hola, Jaime!» representa el encabezamiento de la carta. En español el encabezamiento se separa con dos puntos del cuerpo de la carta. Este comienza con mayúscula y en renglón aparte.
