Soy una estudiante y me ha tocado clasificar algunas palabras entre agudas, graves, esdrújulas y sobresdrújulas entre la que está BUENDÍA.

Respuesta: 

Buendía, como fórmula de saludo se escribe en dos palabras: «Buen día». Día lleva tilde porque contiene un hiato formado por una vocal débil tónica y una fuerte átona. El término en una sola voz se registra únicamente como apellido, aunque es de muy baja frecuencia, y en ese caso, será una palabra grave que contiene un hiato y por eso, se tilda.
