Consulta: 

¿Debe ponerse coma después del cargo de una persona? Por ejemplo: El comisionado residente de Puerto Rico Juan Verlanga está libre de cargos. ¿Va una coma antes del nombre Juan? No entiendo bien la coma explicativa con referencia a los cargos o títulos que acompañan a los nombres.

Respuesta: 

Se coloca coma cuando se trata de un inciso, es decir, de una expresión que sirve para añadir información a lo dicho con anterioridad o para explicar lo mismo en otras palabras: El comisionado residente de Puerto Rico, Juan Verlanga, está..., pero El comisionado residente Juan Verlanga está...
