Consulta: 

Si comparamos las frases: «Ya recibí tu correo y espero poderlo ver con calma pronto» y «Ya recibí tu correo y espero poder verlo con calma pronto». ¿Cuál es la diferencia? ¿Es alguna de las dos frases incorrecta? ¿Cuál debería usarse en un contexto formal?

Respuesta: 

El mensaje es el mismo, pero la segunda es la correcta gramaticalmente. Esto se debe a que en las perífrasis y locuciones verbales de infinitivo y gerundio ( ir a + infinitivo; deber + infinitivo; poder + infinitivo; venir a + infinitivo; seguir + gerundio; estar + gerundio...), el pronombre átono va antepuesto al verbo auxiliar (poder en su caso) o pospuesto al verbo principal (ver en su caso). Como el verbo auxiliar está en infinitivo, solo se puede dar la posposición: poder verlo.
