¿Cuándo usar "r" o la doble "rr"? Quisiera saber la regla. Muchas gracias.

Respuesta: 

La rr (doble erre) no se escribe nunca al inicio de palabra. Se utiliza rr en medio de la palabra cuando su pronunciación es fuerte y va entre vocales: carro, arrastrar, ferrocarril, prerromano, microrred, etc. Sin embargo, aunque su pronunciación sea fuerte, cuando la r va precedida de cualquiera de las consonantes l, n, s, se escribe r: enredar, enriquecer, alrededor, israelí, posromanticismo. En todos los demás casos, la pronunciación es suave y, por lo tanto, debe escribirse la letra de manera simple: Caracas, portero, pared, Jerez, suerte, caminar.
