¿Es verdad que ya no se tilda la palabra sólo que reemplaza a la palabra solamente?

Respuesta: 

De acuerdo con la normativa vigente solo no lleva tilde en ningún caso, sea adjetivo o adverbio.Ejemplos: Valeria solo estudia de mañana (adverbio: solamente).Juan está solo en su casa (adjetivo: sin compañía).
