¿El verbo leer se pronuncia [ler]? En general, ¿cómo deben pronunciarse y cuál es la regla fonética para palabras con dos vocales?

Respuesta: 

En una secuencia de vocales, iguales o distintas, se pronuncia cada una de estas, excepto si se trata de las secuencias ue, ui  después de g y q, en las cuales la u es muda. Así, en leer se pronuncian ambas vocales: le.er.   Cooperación: co.o.peración; creer: cre.er; poseer: pose.er; poliinsaturado: poli.insaturado; contraataque: contra.ataque; etc.
