No consigo encontrar la razón por la que la palabra "encuentro" no va acentuada.Muchas gracias.

Respuesta: 

No se tilda por ser palabra grave o llana terminada en vocal. El mayor tono de voz recae sobre la -e- (vocal abierta) de -cuen-, si recayera sobre la -u- (vocal cerrada) de esa misma sílaba, se tildaría: *encúentro, pero ese no es el caso.
