Me encanta recibir La palabra del día y poder hacerles consultas, ¡qué maravilla que existen! Me gustaría saber si es correcto decir "Es un pedido de mi hijo y por eso accedí" o si debería usarse "petición". ¡Gracias!

Respuesta: 

Ambos sustantivos son posibles en su oración. Tenga en cuenta la concordancia temporal: "Era/fue un pedido/una petición de mi hijo y por eso accedí", "Es un pedido/una petición de mi hijo y por eso he accedido/accedo".
